Experiences: Live Cultural Explorations / Virtual Field Trips
In these Experiences students (middle/high school) will attend a live cultural exploration via Zoom through our partner organization, LinguaMeeting. In these sessions, a native Speaker will invite participating students (large enrollments) to explore a cultural topic in real time. This will include multi-media slides, live demonstrations, and interaction. Students do not need to turn on their webcam and can participate via the chat, through on screen polls, and/or through a Kahoot quiz. The experiences are very diverse: a walking tour of a Guatemalan zoo, a cooking demonstration of Venezuelan Arepas, a live acoustic guitar concert from Spain, a dance demonstration from Peru…etc. The times and topics vary.
